My first day!
Hello! My host family is amazing!!! The mother in the family’s name is Tori, her husband Shawn, their son Chase who is the same age as me and Isabella who is 13. Their house is so beautiful! And the town they live in to, there are huge mountains surrounding the area and every time I go outside I am shocked by how beautiful it is.
So on my first day I woke up and took a long and refreshing shower! Then I went upstairs and had breakfast. A super delicious zucchini bread that one of their neighbors had made for them. After that Tori talked to the school and for us to be able to go there and sign me up for courses I had to do a TB test and get a Hep A shot. So she booked a doctors appointment for the same day. After that Chase and his friends took me to see a tennis match. The tournament was at this huge country club which was so nice. So the friends to the Lima’s that were also at the airport, was living with them for a couple of days because they are from Las Vegas. They were here for the tennis tournament and one of the girls was the one who were playing. She is the best in the county or if it was the country I can’t remember….
After that Shawn drove me to Tori’s job, she and I went to the doctor to get the shots (which I hate more than anything), but it went fine! We went home and ate some spaghetti then we were of to work out at a place called Cardio bar. We also realized that I probably had altitude sickness because I had a headache the whole day. After we got home from the work out we refreshed and went to a pool party that their church arranged. It was so nice, they introduced me to like all their friends and neighbors. Also I got to try a pulled pork sandwich and jello salad. After a while Tori and I went home, I checked the blog and my e-mails and then I went to bed because I was super tired.
