Las Vegas
So a while back my host family and I went to Vegas. We stayed with some of their friends who live there in their huge house. We had so much fun! The first day we were there we went to the Hoover dam. It’s just on the border of Nevada and Arizona so I got to see two new states. The dam was way cool and after we saw the dam we went for a hike on one of the old railroad paths from when they were building the dam. On our way back Bella and I took a shortcut and I almost stepped on a poisonous snake.
That evening Shawn, Chase and I went to a haunted house with some of my friends who went to Vegas just to go to that haunted house. It was the third or forth scariest one in the US. It was sooooo scary! We went through a fence that had electric pulses going through it so we got shocked. Then they pretended to execute us, and after that we went into a bathroom with a lot of (fake) blood in the bathtub and it smelled really bad. Some people started grabbing us a someone tried to drag me away and they pulled of my shoe, but Chase got it back for me. I’m still glad I went through the whole thing cuz they had a safe word incase you couldn’t handle it.
The next day one of the girls in the family we stayed with were playing tennis so we went and watched her first and then we went shopping, like the whole day. In the evening we went on the Las Vegas Strip and watched all the hotels and casinos. It was really an amazing experience. I am so glad I ended up with the Limas, they are truly incredible and I could not have wished for a better host family.
